Additional Modules - 3PL
CoreIMS Enterprise Edition (CoreIMS EE) provides a CoreIMS User the
ability to perform inventory operations through Internet utilizing Web
Browser (IE 6.0+ or Firefox 1.0.3+). CoreIMS now also supports 3RD Party
Billing features.
3BL Billing module allows customer:
- Generating Storage Charges depending on Owner Contract;
- Create Manual Charges;
- Browse and Print Contracts and Billing-specific reports.
- Creating/Editing Contract for Owners;
- Maintaining Manual Charge Types/Rates dictionary;
- Maintaining Manual Charges based on predefined rates for each Receiving Order and generate Handling Charges during Receiving and Shipping operations depending on Owner Contract;
Billing on Receiving and Shipping operation could includes the following handling charges:
- Handling Charge Including:
- Handling number of orders
- Handling number of order lines
- Handling quantity of stock
- Handling number of pallets
- Handling number of containers
- Handling weight of stock.
- Storage Charge - a Charge for Owner's Items storage services calculated on a basis of corresponding Contract detail
- Manual Charge - an additional Charge submitted by Warehouse for services that are not listed in Contract
All the charges are generated automatically using the following method:
- Handling charges are calculated immediately on Receiving/Shipping confirmation.
- Storage charges are calculated on a periodic basis only for days between last successful charges generation and today, not including today. For example, for daily charges: if last day charges were generated is August, 1 and today is August, 10, charges will be generated for all days starting with August, 2 until August, 9. Current version of the Billing module does not support generation of charges for dates earlier than last successful charge generation date.
Definitions:
- Contract - document that fixes an agreement between Warehouse and Owner on storing and handling Owner's goods with detailed information on agreed amount of charges for each service
- Handling Charge - Charge for Owner's Items handling services calculated based on corresponding Contract details
